Hi! Sorry it took so long to reply to this, I don’t go on this blog too much. I’m 16 and I hadn’t surgery 7 months ago. It was alot of pain because I had to go to school after a week, so if you are looking into it is definitely recommend taking 3-4 weeks off. Especially with the way my surgeon did it, I had 2 pins and it was uncomfortable when I was walking. It would be easier if you’re able to walk on crutches, I couldn’t.
It was DEFINITELY worth it. It was painful, but I had a few complications. I would definitely recommend really looking into it. I’m really glad I did it, and I’m seriously considering getting my other foot done.
